Prof.Dr.Kemal Yildirim is the Secretary General of the SCO Trade Council.
Dr. Kemal Yıldırım has written 237 books as a single author and an additional 3 books as a co-author resulting in a total of 240 books. Most of these books have been translated to at least 8 languages. Further publications by him include over a hundred of articles in peer journals. He has also served as an editorial member for many of these journals. Currently, he teaches human rights law at the European School of Law and Governance in Kosovo as well as at various universities as a guest professor. His experience is furthered by his work as a film producer and director with more than twenty feature films and documentaries to his name. Dr. Yıldırım was also a member of the Professional Practices Board at the Chartered Institute of Journalists in the UK, the oldest organization for journalists in existence between 2019-20 He has also served as an ambassador of the World Parliament of Religions from 2018 to 2019 and participated in international conferences for the protection of human rights.

Dr. Yıldırım speaks more than 10 languages and has obtained his PhD in Comparative Politics from CNU Nicaragua and Azteca in Mexico as a dual degree. Dr Yildirim has got his second PhD in African studies at the Central Christian University in Malawi in South-east Africa.He obtained his first post-doctorate from the University of Coimbra, Institute of Human Rights in Portugal in 2017 and second post-doctorate in Immigration Issues from Buenos Aires University in Argentina in 2019. His third Post-doctorate is in Latin American and Caribbean studies from the University of Latin America in Venezuela in 2021.He has obtained the Doctor of Letters (D.Lit.) in cultural studies) Mesopotamia, Civilizations and Cultures) from City university in Cambodia September 04th, 2017.Dr Yildirim has got a Bachelors of Arts (BA) degree in Sanskrit Language and Literature from Rashtriya Vishwa Vidyapeeth, in Mumbai India he was placed the First class at the examination held in 2018
He is Fellow Member of more than 15 international academies such as European academy of Sciences and arts and Fellow member of Botswana and Zimbabwe Academy of Sciences and Balkan Academy of sciences and education and Royal Society of Arts and Royal institute of Geography and Anthropology and Linnean Society of London and Associate Member of the Caribbean Academy of Sciences (CAS) in Trinidad and Tobago, Member of Malta Historical Society. Dr. Kemal Yildirim is also member of the Standing Committee on the Humanities and Social Sciences (SC-HASS) at the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR).
