New Delhi to Welcome Global Trade Leaders Under the Theme “Building Economic Partnership for a Sustainable Future”
Global business leader and Trade Commissioner Mr. Santhosh Kumar Venugopalan has been invited as the Guest of Honor at the prestigious United Economic BRICS Business Summit 2026, scheduled to take place on 10th September 2026 in New Delhi.
Organized by the United Diplomatic Council and Diplomatic CEO Club, the summit will bring together diplomats, trade commissioners, CEOs, investors, and business leaders from BRICS nations and partner countries under the theme “Building Economic Partnership for a Sustainable Future.”
A Distinguished Global Business Leader
Mr. Santhosh Kumar V serves as the Executive Director of Global Resources Group (India | U.A.E. | U.K.) and Hon. Trade Commissioner – Malaysia, India Commonwealth Trade Council / India ASEAN Trade Council.
With more than 27 years of professional experience across supply chain management, international trade, business development, and strategic transformation, Mr. Santhosh has built extensive expertise across the Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas, and allied industrial sectors.
As Executive Director of Global Resources Group, he leads operations across India, the UAE, and the UK, driving the organization as a turnkey solutions provider for the Marine and Offshore sectors. His leadership focuses on strategic growth, commercial excellence, sustainable partnerships, and international business development.
Before joining Global Resources Group, Mr. Santhosh spent more than 18 years with Chalmers Engineering L.L.C., where he served as Group Head – Supply Chain. During his tenure, he managed a procurement portfolio of approximately AED 250 million and contributed to significant operational and financial efficiencies.
Strong Academic and Professional Credentials
Mr. Santhosh is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and holds an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management, Dubai, along with a BSc in Physics. He is also a Certified International Supply Chain Professional (CISCP) and Certified International Supply Chain Manager (CISCM), USA.
In addition to his corporate leadership, he has played an active role in promoting international trade and business cooperation. Through his work as a Trade Commissioner, he contributes to strengthening bilateral commercial relationships, facilitating business connections, and encouraging collaboration among businesses and stakeholders across international markets.
He also serves as President of Lions Club, Dubai, and is an active member of Toastmasters International, reflecting his continued commitment to leadership, community engagement, and professional development.
